GCS&MAI Panchkula Seminar staged on November 29, 2019 in association with Panchkula Golf Course

The Golf Course Superintendents & Managers Association of India (GCS&MAI) staged its last Seminar for the year 2019 at Panchkula on Nov 29. The Panchkula Seminar on Golf and Turf Maintenance is being supported by Panchkula Golf Course.

The Golf Course Superintendents & Managers Association of India is an association for the men and women who manage and maintain the game’s most valuable resource – the golf course.

Panchkula Seminar, the last Seminar being held for the year 2019, will witness a number of professionals from the field share their knowledge and expertise on various aspects of course maintenance and green keeping with the keen participants through their speeches.

The speakers at the event, which held from 9 am to 3 pm on Nov 29 at Panchkula Golf Club, was Mr. Sunil Verma of Toro, Mr. Vinod Goyal from Agricare, Mr. Vijit Nandrajog of Golf Design India, Mr. Neil Law of Eco Park Arena, Kolkata and Mr. Vineet Upadhyay of Hunter.

Wg. Cdr. A K Singh (Retd), President, GCS&MAI, said, “The Panchkula Seminar provides a platform for the leading Indian names in course maintenance and green keeping to come together and enrich each other with their wisdom and experiences. This will in turn contribute to the further growth of the sport and the business of golf in the country. We are expecting over 50 participants at the seminar, thus making it one of our biggest events. We thank Panchkula Golf Course and other Sponsors for partnering with us for this Seminar.

 

The Panchkula Golf Club, situated on the Ambala-Panchkula-Kalka-Shimla Highway, and spread over an area of 135 acres is one of the premier championship courses in north India. It is situated at an alluring location on the banks of the river Ghaggar. The backdrop of the Shivalik Hills lends a picturesque view to the course.
